I wanted to post a reminder to those who are extremely interested as well as those who have to be dragged there!  This film session is our most important of the film. Its a make it-break it kind of thing.  As I follow up with all who follow this effort, I wanted to put a calendar reminder here. Also there is a new page we have dedicated towards just filming session information. It is called "The Next Filming Session." As I provide updates on stuff, you'll see it. Who knows? If you follow our efforts from across the country, maybe we will see you there. If you need to get a hold of me, just access our Facebook page down below a bit.

February 1st, 2010

Hello everyone. :) I would like to share that we completed our January film session. It was pretty cold, but we prepared the best we could. Lots of layers. Sometimes the cold made it hard to move, hard to think, hard to drive through. All in all we got some good shots. Our footage gives us a slightly different look how a certain snow planet that a certain Jedi returns to recover a certain item. I was asked "Why do we do so much winter filming?" The answer is: its looks cool, very few fan films do it, and the scenery is free. Thanks to Dave Dahlberg for making the trek from Duluth MN. It was great seeing you again on film Dave.

A couple items to note:

-This is our last major filming session until April. We will be focusing our time & energy on getting as large a turnout as possible for April 10th-11th.

 Hi! I wanted to send out a quick note. We are approaching our 3rd filming session this weekend in Cannon Falls (once again). Hopefully we can stay warm (again). And hopefully we will continue to get great shots!

Happy New Year! Things are moving along steadily. As we look at 2010 we plan on filming a little here, producing a little there, as we prepare to make a serious push to April. In between, we intend to release a bit of content as we go. Please take a look at the Videos section for a new webisode on our efforts to bring you a higher quality experience. We look forward to sharing new content & new experiences at the end of January.

December 7th, 2009

We wrapped up our 2nd filming session for this movie. The session we focused on returns a certain character back to a certain frigid planet. The weather that day was appropriate. The studio, which is a converted barn, was frigid. There was nothing we really could do to get it warm, so we made the best of it. Hopefully the vapor from our breath will make it into some of the shots. Jesse looked great. Some of the intial tests performed with his soon to be virtual environment look really good and we can hopefully deliver one of many  very cool scenes to you all!

We wrapped up our 1st filming session for this movie; quite a lot to keep track of. We had people that were ready to step up and provide some really good moments. We also had a lot of new members that weren't sure what they were in for. Thanks to everyone! There are some really great shots from Saturday. Here are a few. Our cast (including some new recruits) will be gathering this Saturday, November 14th for our 1st filming session of this sequel. Everyone's looking forward to having a good time and getting this story started. Our studio is completed so we will have a rain or shine plan. Look for more updates from Saturday's session in the days ahead.

Say elo' to my lil' sequel!

Our family & friends have encouraged us to deliver a sequel to our Star Wars Fan Film IMMOLATION that came out in January of this year. As the final version of the film was cut and we were finishing up with the premiere planning at the theater, Jesse Fox and I had this feeling that we had more story to do. We felt we had a chance to continue to let these characters grow within the Star Wars Expanded Universe. We also felt that we could produce a 2nd film living by the old cliche: bigger & better.

So that is what we intend to do.

This site will provide all updates for where we are with the process and also be a central location for our family & friends in Minnesota & Wisconsin who may be interested in joining our effort. We definitely need all the help we can get. There will be more to come for those who are interested.
